Authorities in Singapore appear to be in no mood for jokes as they gear up for the historic summit between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un. A Hong Kong-based entertainer who impersonates the North Korean leader for a living said he was detained at Changi Airport ahead of the meeting planned for Tuesday. Going by his stage name of Howard X, he told Bloomberg News: “They asked me about what my political views were and if I had been involved with protests or riots in other countries. I feel they were trying to intimidate me, but if I got deported it would have been big news.” Howard said he was released after two hours. Meanwhile, South Korean reporters have been arrested for trespassing after they entered the residence of the North Korean ambassador to Singapore. The police said the two arrested Thursday were from the Korean Broadcasting System News, while two other men are also under investigation.
