Pelosi: Dems Would Need Overwhelming Evidence to Impeach Trump

House Minority leader Nancy Pelosi said Tuesday that even if Democrats take the House in tonight’s midterm elections, it is unlikely that they will move to impeach President Trump. “That's not what our caucus is about,” Pelosi reportedly told PBS reporter Judy Woodruff. Pelosi noted that for impeachment proceedings to move forward, special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation would have to produce overwhelming evidence of wrongdoing, and the push would have to be bipartisan.
