IT’S OUT

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s New Album Released While He Remains Behind Bars

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s new album, Dummy Boy, was released Tuesday after being delayed amid his arrest for federal racketeering and firearms charges, according to Rolling Stone. The album was originally slated for a November 23rd release, but was delayed after 6ix9ine and four of his associates were apprehended on Sunday. The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is reportedly being held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center after his bail was denied. If his bail appeal is not approved, Hernandez could stay behind bars until his September 2019 sentencing hearing. He reportedly faces “32 years to life” in prison. The album features collaborations with rappers like Kanye West and Nicki Minaj. “Danny, I love you and am praying for you, your Mother, daughter & her Mom during this time,” Minaj wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post announcing the album’s delay last week.
