WSJ: U.S. in Early Talks for Potential Trump-Putin Summit

According to a report in The Wall Street Journal, the United States is planning for a potential summit between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The report noted that U.S. ambassador to Russia, Jon Huntsman, has been in Washington, D.C., to coordinate a possible meeting. The summit would be the third meeting between the two leaders who had discussions at the Group of 20 summit last July and at another summit in Vietnam last year. Topics would likely include Syria, Ukraine, and nuclear-arms control, according to the report.
